For a winter trip from Osaka or Kyoto to Kobe’s Mount Rokko, the original report compared transport and admission together. The Rokko Ski Coupon was announced to go on sale as a QR digital ticket from December 5, 2026. It bundled Hanshin or Hankyu rail travel, specified buses and cable-car sections, and Rokko Snow Park admission.

The cover was edited from a June 24, 2006 Rokko cable-car archive photograph. It does not show current rolling stock/facilities or a winter snowscape.

This was announced October 16; as of the original October 17 check it was not yet on sale. Purchase and use were by smartphone, without paper tickets.

1. Choose for the railway you will use

Rokko Ski Coupon sale prices
Version Adult Child
Hanshin version JPY 4,200 JPY 2,100
Hankyu version JPY 4,300 JPY 2,150

The operator’s child category was age 6 to under 12. Ages 3 through preschool needed a separate Snow Park admission ticket bought on site. Lifts and equipment rental were not included.

  • Rail: The Hanshin version covered Hanshin lines; the Hankyu version covered Hankyu lines. Both excluded Kobe Kosoku lines.
  • Kobe city buses: Route 16 between Hanshin Mikage and Rokko Cable Shita via Hankyu Rokko. The Hankyu version also covered routes 26 and 106.
  • Rokko Cable: Rokko Cable Shita to Rokko Sanjo stations.
  • Rokko Sanjo Bus: Rokko Cable Sanjo to Rokko Snow Park.

Rail, bus, and cable travel allowed unlimited boarding/alighting within those valid sections on the chosen single day. It was not a pass for all Kobe transport; first check the departure station and transfers.

2. Sales begin December 5; final use March 7

The sales period was December 5, 2026–March 7, 2027. It was valid on one chosen day within three months of purchase, but the last possible use date was March 7, 2027. That limit could not be exceeded. Dates could change with slope conditions.

The sales platform was Surutto QRtto. After registering, users bought with a credit card and showed a smartphone QR code at gates or to facility staff. No paper ticket or exchange voucher was issued, and there was no system-use or issuance fee at purchase.

The official FAQ said overseas visitors could use it. English, Korean, and traditional/simplified Chinese information was available, though individual products might not support every language. A charged smartphone, internet connection, and enabled camera were required. Listed card brands were Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club. The original called for separately checking approval of South Korean-issued cards; no overseas issuer’s approval is assumed here.

EVERYDAY TRIP Editorial Team’s advice

Choose the station nearest your accommodation, then compare Hanshin and Hankyu versions. For skiing, budget lifts and rental separately from entry. After sales begin, check whether your card works, and review transport and business notices the day before visiting.
